1. Purpose & scope
This page documents, in plain language, how iAnimals Lite uses
third-party contextual advertising in compliance with:
Apple’s App Store Review Guideline 1.3 – Kids Category, and
applicable child privacy and safety regulations.
iAnimals Lite is a simple offline animal picture book with sounds,
designed exclusively for young children (5 and under). The app uses only a
single small banner ad. There are no interstitial ads, no rewarded ads,
no full-screen ads, and no video ads.
2. High-level summary
Ad format: One small banner at the bottom of the screen.
Ad type:third-party contextual advertising only via Google AdMob.
No personalized ads: interest-based ads, behavioral targeting,
and remarketing are disabled.
Child-directed configuration: all ad requests are flagged as
child-directed and under the age of consent where applicable.
G-rated only: maximum ad content rating is set to general audiences
(“G”), and sensitive / mature categories are blocked.
Human review of creatives: ad creatives are reviewed via Google’s
automated and human review processes and by the developer using AdMob’s
Ad Review Center, specifically for age appropriateness in a kids app.
No analytics SDKs: the app does not include any third-party analytics
frameworks (no Firebase Analytics, etc.).
No tracking: the app does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt
and does not access the IDFA.
3. Third-party contextual advertising service
Provider: Google AdMob (Google LLC)
iAnimals Lite uses Google AdMob solely to display contextual banner ads. Relevant
public documentation from Google includes:
AdMob & AdSense program policies
Family and child-directed settings (including COPPA)
Maximum ad content rating and content filters
Ad Review Center (manual creative review tools)
Ads privacy & technologies
Google enforces its advertising policies with a combination of automated systems
and human reviewers, who review ads and disapprove or remove creatives
that violate content rules.
4. Human review of ad creatives (age appropriateness)
Apple’s Kids Category requires that third-party contextual advertising services
used in kids apps have publicly documented practices and policies that include
human review of ad creatives for age appropriateness. iAnimals Lite satisfies
this requirement through both Google’s processes and the developer’s own review:
4.1 Google’s review processes
Ads shown through AdMob must comply with Google Ads / AdMob policies. These
policies are enforced via automated systems and human reviewers.
Creatives that violate content rules (e.g., violence, adult content, gambling)
are rejected or removed by Google.
4.2 Developer’s human review for iAnimals Lite
We actively use the Ad Review Center in our AdMob account to
manually review creatives that may appear in iAnimals Lite.
We regularly inspect creatives and block any ad or advertiser that
appears unsuitable for young children (including but not limited to: fear,
violence, adult themes, medical / cosmetic content, gambling, politics,
religion, dating, slimming / diet, “get rich quick”, etc.).
If a parent reports an inappropriate ad to us at
contact@iburgerapps.com, we
review the report and permanently block the creative and/or advertiser
as quickly as possible.
Because the app is made exclusively for very young children, any ad that
is not clearly family-friendly and age-appropriate is treated as inappropriate
and blocked.
This combination of Google’s automated and human review and our own manual review
is intended to ensure that ad creatives displayed in iAnimals Lite are
age-appropriate for children in the Kids Category.
5. Children’s privacy & safety
No user accounts. Children do not create accounts and are not asked to provide names, emails, or any personal information.
No sensitive permissions. The app does not access GPS location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or calendar.
No third-party analytics. The app includes no analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, etc.).
No tracking / IDFA. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency authorization and does not access the IDFA.
No developer-side profiling. We do not build user profiles, do not combine data across apps, and do not sell or share user data.
6. Technical ad configuration in the app
Before requesting any ad, iAnimals Lite configures the AdMob SDK as
child-directed with “G” content rating. The configuration includes:

Storage and use: This technical data is processed by Google to deliver contextual ads, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with applicable law. We do not store or use this data for our own purposes.
