This privacy policy applies to the application TOmaTO (the “App”), published by iBurGerApps / Christophe Burdin.

1. Overview

TOmaTO is a kids-friendly, offline picture book app for fruits and vegetables. It is designed for young children and families and has been built so that:

• No personal data is collected.
• No data is transmitted off the device.
• No third-party SDKs or analytics tools are integrated.
• No advertising, tracking, or profiling is performed.
• No data is shared or sold to any third parties.

2. Information we do not collect

The App does not collect, store, or process any of the following information:

• Names, email addresses, or other contact details
• Account information or passwords
• Location data (GPS, approximate location, IP-based location, etc.)
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA, AAID, etc.)
• Device identifiers or fingerprints
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Health, financial, or other sensitive information
• Photos, contacts, microphone, camera, or files

No background services are used to observe or track user behavior.

3. Local data on the device

TOmaTO runs fully on-device. To provide a smooth user experience, the App may store a small amount of non-personal, local-only data, such as:

• Selected language(s) for the interface and spoken names
• Playback preferences (manual / automatic, sequential / random)
• Settings like slideshow time per image

This data:

• Is stored only on your device
• Is not used to identify any user
• Is not transmitted to us or to any third party

4. No third-party services or SDKs

The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs or services such as:

• Advertising networks
• Analytics or crash-reporting services
• Social network plugins
• Cloud backends or external databases

The App relies only on standard system components provided by Apple (iOS / iPadOS), such as the operating system’s built-in text-to-speech engine. Any processing by Apple’s system components is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies.

5. No ads, no in-app purchases

TOmaTO is a premium app with a simple, child-safe experience:

• No advertising is displayed (no banner, interstitial, or rewarded ads).
• No in-app purchases are offered.
• No external commercial links are shown to children.

6. Kids and families

The App is designed for children and families, with a simple interface and no online features. We:

• Do not collect personal information from children or adults
• Do not create user profiles
• Do not use behavioral advertising or remarketing

Parents and guardians remain responsible for reviewing and supervising the App’s use by their children.

7. Parental controls

Certain settings in the App (such as configuration screens) are protected by a simple parental gate (a random math question) so that children do not modify preferences on their own. This gate:

• Is evaluated entirely on-device
• Does not collect or store any personal data

8. Children’s privacy

Because TOmaTO does not collect or transmit any personal data, no child’s personal information is ever stored or processed.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us directly (e.g., through an email sent by mistake), please contact us and we will delete that information.

9. Data retention

As the App does not collect personal data or send data to a server, we do not retain any user data on our systems.

Local preferences stored on the device remain until you uninstall the App or reset the App’s data on your device.

10. Security

Because all content and settings are stored locally on the device and no data is transmitted, the risk of unauthorized access to personal information via this App is minimized.

We still recommend that you keep your device updated and protected (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, etc.).

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if the App’s features change or if legal requirements evolve. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page.

The App will continue to respect the core principles stated here: no tracking, no ads, no third-party SDKs, and no data collection.
