iAnimals Lite – Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how iAnimals Lite handles information. iAnimals Lite is designed exclusively for young children (5 and under) and is listed in Apple’s Kids Category. The app is a simple offline animal picture book with sounds and displays one small third-party contextual banner ad configured for children. We do not use tracking technologies (no ATT prompt, no IDFA access), and we do not collect personal data for our own purposes.
1. Information we collect
- We (the developer) do not collect personal data from users. iAnimals Lite does not ask children to enter any personal information (such as name, email address, phone number, or precise location). There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no profile.
- No analytics SDKs. The app does not include third-party analytics frameworks (for example, there is no Firebase Analytics or other analytics library sending data to the developer).
-
Contextual ads via Google AdMob (child-directed mode).
iAnimals Lite uses Google AdMob only to show a small contextual banner ad.
To deliver these ads and prevent fraud or abuse, AdMob may receive technical
information such as:
- IP address (from which coarse location might be inferred),
- app bundle identifier,
- standard device and network signals required to serve and measure ads.
2. How we use information
- To display non-personalized, contextual advertising. Ads are chosen based on app content and limited contextual signals, not on user profiles or behavior.
- To maintain app and ad integrity. Technical data handled by the ad network is used to deliver ads, prevent invalid traffic and abuse, and meet legal obligations (for example, COPPA and GDPR-K requirements).
3. Children’s privacy & legal bases
-
Child-directed ads configuration.
iAnimals Lite is configured in Google AdMob as child-directed by using settings such as
tagForChildDirectedTreatment = trueandtagForUnderAgeOfConsent = true(where applicable), and by enforcingmaxAdContentRating = .general(“G”). Ads are contextual only. - Human review of ad creatives. Ads delivered through AdMob must comply with Google’s policies, which are enforced using automated systems and human reviewers. In addition, as described in our Kids Advertising Policy, we actively use AdMob’s Ad Review Center to manually review and block creatives and advertisers that are not appropriate for young children.
- No tracking / no personalized ads. iAnimals Lite does not show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not access the IDFA. We do not request consent for tracking because we do not perform tracking or interest-based advertising. Ads are non-personalized and contextual only.
-
Compliance objective.
We aim to comply with child privacy laws such as COPPA (US), GDPR-K (EU), and
similar regulations by:
- avoiding collection of personal data from children,
- using contextual ads only, with “G” content rating,
- ensuring human review of ad creatives for age appropriateness.
5. Data retention
- The app itself does not store personal data. There is no user account data, no personal profile, and no analytics database.
- The ad network (Google AdMob) may retain technical and log data needed to deliver and measure ads. Retention periods and deletion policies for that data are determined by Google and described in its public documentation.
6. Your rights & parental requests
- Because we do not maintain user accounts or store personal data, there is no account or profile to delete on our side.
- Parents who have questions or concerns about ads or privacy in iAnimals Lite can contact us at contact@iburgerapps.com. If a parent reports an ad that appears inappropriate for children, we will investigate and, if necessary, block that creative and/or advertiser in AdMob’s Ad Review Center.
- If a parent prefers an experience without third-party ads, we recommend using the paid version of our app that does not contain advertising.

8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app, our advertising configuration, or applicable regulations change. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The latest version of this policy will remain available from the App Store product page and from within the app.
